Ally Bremer, LCSW

Ally Bremer has been in private practice since 2014 and has been practicing in the field since 2009. Since starting her own practice in 2016, she has worked extensively with children, adolescents, teenagers, parents, families, young adults, and adults. She helps support individuals on their relationship issues, stress, anxiety, depression, trauma and upsetting events, and helps people get past stuck points in their lives.

She focuses her practice on identifying and overcoming challenges which are preventing people from living a more happy, fulfilled life.  Ally chose this field because she knew there was a need that was not being met with so many families.  Often children and adults need someone to support them and guide them in the right direction by helping them help themselves and Ally has been doing this since 2009.  Her passion is to teach individuals the skills to not need her anymore, to be able to support themselves without the need of a therapist.

Ally has been licensed as a Clinical Social Worker since 2013. Before starting to work in private practice, she worked in different school settings focusing on children of all different ages dealing with emotional and mental illness.  She has worked at Linden Oaks Behavioral Hospital working with adults in identifying their struggles and identifying coping skills that will allow them to overcome their daily obstacles.

Ally truly believes that having a good relationship and feeling comfortable with your therapist is an essential part of therapy.  She provides a relaxed casual environment where you'll feel you can express yourself openly without judgement knowing that she will warmly but honestly guide you through your journey of change, adjustment, and growth.  Her approach is to help guide and teach individuals to overcome struggles and eventually not need the help of a therapist anymore.

Ally Bremer grew up in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree’s from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She completed her clinical training at Evanston Hospital and at a therapeutic high school in the Northwest Suburbs.

Ally Bremer is the mother of one and leads an active and healthy lifestyle.
